Neurosurgical Expertise and Holistic Care

The diagnosis of an illness necessitating a consultation with a neurosurgeon can be accompanied by pain, loss of physical functions, limited performance, reduced quality of life and various anxieties. Relatives are also affected by the illness of their loved one. I will provide you with the best possible support to help you cope with the many challenges of your illness. In order to ensure treatment based on the latest knowledge, I regularly attend conferences and educational events at home and abroad to maintain the professional exchange with colleagues.

Application of Scientific Findings in Daily Practice

Results of my own scientific work on the topics "quality of life", "minimally invasive surgical procedures" and "complication management" influence my daily work.

Treatment results

Treatment results and health-related quality of life are regularly documented and evaluated to ensure continuous improvement in care. Thereby, Disease-specific, scientifically validated questionnaires, which you receive before or after the consultations, play an important role. These can be used to identify disease-related and non-disease-related difficulties in everyday life which can have a negative impact on recovery. If these difficulties are taken into account when outlining each patient's individualized treatment plan, overall well-being can be improved.

Participation in scientific studies

If you wish to participate in a scientific study, this would be done in accordance with the applicable ethical and legal requirements with prior informed consent. Your health-related data will not be analyzed without your consent.
